Beginning Wire Wrapping with Elane Osredkar

The student will learn:

Tools used for wire wrapping
-Gauges and temper of wire
-The process of wire wrapping a cabochon

Teaching will be individualized and group (no more than 8 adults) Instructional methodology will include hands-on instruction by Elane to insure proficiency of technique. Numerous examples will be provided and an instructional packet will be given to take home. The students will complete the wire wrapping of a cabochon and creation of a pendant to take home.

$20 Supply fee includes:
-One dichroic glass cabochon.
-Sterling silver square wire to complete pendant.
-Sterling silver half round wire to complete pendant.

Provided by teacher:  pin vise tool, hand drill, masking tape

Required supplies to bring: by student:
-A pad to work on
-Flat nose pliers
-Chain nose pliers
-Round nose pliers
-Flush cutters
-12 inch ruler
-Medium point sharpie permanent marker
-Small pocket knife
-Portable light
